An inspection team uncovered shocking food safety violations at a snack production facility in Hanoi where products were found on dirty, greasy floors, and decomposing rat carcasses were discovered in the production area.
The inspection, conducted on Tuesday, targeted Duc Vinh Food Technology and Trading Joint Stock Company, located at 2 Thanh Nien Street, Hoai Duc District.
While most products showcased eye-catching packaging with Korean-language labels, the team was appalled by unsanitary conditions throughout the facility's production line.

The inspection revealed significant violations, including a disorganized production area that failed to adhere to the one-way workflow principle, where kitchen activities should follow a specific sequence.
Workers lacked specialized protective gear, and the facility neglected to separate production zones, leaving snacks on greasy floors.

Duc Vinh Food Technology and Trading Joint Stock Company was unable to provide proof of origin for certain additives and materials, while the health certificates of seven workers were found to be invalid.
The inspection team has ordered the facility to suspend operations and implement corrective measures.
These include thoroughly cleaning all equipment and tools, reorganizing the production area to comply with the one-way workflow principle, ensuring workers possess valid health certificates, and discontinuing the use of non-compliant materials.
