Aeron Foster, a Briton who has lived in Ho Chi Minh City for six years, stated that large-scale sporting events such as the Manulife Da Nang International Marathon 2022 signaled that life was back to normal in Vietnam.

In his first time competing in the event in Da Nang, a coastal city in central Vietnam, Foster finished third in the 21-kilometer race.

Lee added he looks forward to the return of the event in 2023.
