The Vietnam Football Federation unveiled four pricing tiers and the purchasing method for the Vietnam-Iraq match in the Asian second qualification round for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Friday evening.

The upcoming match, set to take place at My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi on November 21, will mark Vietnam’s second fixture in Group F during the second qualifiers.

Prior to this, they faced the Philippines at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila on November 16.

Vietnam’s next scheduled match is against Indonesia in March 2024.

The second round of the 2026 World Cup qualification in Asia comprises 36 teams, organized into nine groups, each consisting of four teams. These teams will compete in home-and-away matches from November 2023 to June 2024.

The winners and runners-up in each team will progress to the third round and secure automatic qualification for the 2027 Asian Cup.

In the third round, the 18 qualifying teams will be divided into three groups of six teams each.

The winners and runners-up from each group will earn direct qualification for the World Cup.

The four ticket denominations made available for the Vietnam-Iraq game are VND600,000 (US$24.5), VND450,000 ($18.3), VND300,000 ($12.2), and VND200,000 ($8).

The ticket issuance and payment method will be facilitated through the VinID application.

Users are advised to download or update the VinID application to its latest version and utilize their identity card or passport to complete the necessary procedures.

The tickets will be delivered to customers' registered addresses using service provided by Vietnam Post. The anticipated date for ticket receipt is November 12.

In preparation for the two upcoming matches, head coach Philippe Troussier revealed the Vietnam team roster on Thursday afternoon.

As part of the schedule, the team will commence training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center in Hanoi on Monday.

Subsequently, on November 13, the team will depart for Manila to make final preparations for the opening match against the Philippines team.
