The Dalat Ultra Trail 2024 international running event officially commenced in Da Lat, a resort city in Lam Dong Province in Vietnam’s Central Highlands, on Saturday morning with over 6,000 participants running through Langbiang Mountain.

The Dalat Ultra Trail 2024 offers six distances, including 5km, 15km, 25km, 55km, 75km, and 112km.

The longest, most challenging category, the 112km race, started on Friday night, while the rest began on Saturday morning.

Organized by the professional sports event organizer Vietnam MTB Series in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Lam Dong Province, the annual race is celebrating its sixth edition since 2018.

It is also part of the internationally acclaimed trail running series Asia Trail Master.

The route starts from the Valley of Love in Da Lat City and traverses the Langbiang World Biosphere Reserve.

For safety, emergency signaling technology is available on runners’ phones or GPS devices.

It also incorporates a live-tracking feature.

Additionally, other safety measures include employing rescue forces from Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong Province, along with local volunteers, and setting up 12 support stations offering water, food, and medical assistance.
