The Vietnamese men's national football team will parade from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi to downtown on two double-deckers on Monday afternoon and then meet with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh after winning the 2024 ASEAN Championship trophy on Sunday.
The flight carrying coach Kim Sang Sik and his boys is scheduled to land in Hanoi at 2:30 pm.
The leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, its Sports Authority of Vietnam and Office of International Cooperation Department, and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) will be at the airport to welcome the team.
Two double-decker buses will then take them from the airport to the downtown area.
An ambulance will carry naturalized forward Nguyen Xuan Son, who suffered a broken leg in the return game against Thailand in Bangkok, from the airport to the hospital for a surgery.
At 6:00 pm on the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will receive the squad at the Government Office.

At the meeting, VFF chairman Tran Quoc Tuan or VFF vice-chairman Tran Anh Tu, head of the Vietnam delegation at the 2024 ASEAN Championship, will report on the Vietnamese team’s preparations and tournament results.
Coach Kim will share his feelings after the 2024 ASEAN Championship campaign.
PM Chinh will announce awards for the victorious team.
Vietnam secured an aggregate 5-3 win over Thailand following a two-legged finale on Sunday night.
The first leg of the final, held last Thursday in Phu Tho Province, northern Vietnam, ended with a 2-1 victory for the hosts.
In the second leg on Sunday, Vietnam edged out hosts Thailand 3-2 at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium.
