American singer Christina Aguilera will be coming to Vietnam to perform at the 2022 VinFuture Prize Award Ceremony in Hanoi, which will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV) and other international channels.
According to VinFuture Foundation, the foundation will organize a Science and Technology Week from December 17 to 21 featuring motivational academic events for the scientific community, businesses, startups, and the general public.
The theme of the Science and Technology Week this year is 'Reviving and Reshaping,' which aims to recognize and appreciate outstanding scientific and technological accomplishments that bring about improvements in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and support sustainable development for millions of people worldwide.
The 2022 VinFuture Prize Award Ceremony, the second edition of its kind, will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on December 20.

The event will be attended by leaders of the Vietnamese government as well as world-leading scientists who have won significant awards including the Nobel Prize, the Millennium Technology Prize, and the Turing Award.
Grammy Award-winning singer Christina Aguilera will play at the event, along with other well-known artists who have received numerous prestigious international music awards, such as Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, Vietnamese violinist Bui Cong Duy, and Vietnamese conductor Dong Quang Vinh.
The national channel VTV1 and other media organizations such as CNN, Discovery, TechNode Global, and Euronews will stream the ceremony live.
Before the awards ceremony, there will be a series of scientific events with helpful values for the community.
Following the announcement of the winners of the VinFuture 2022 award, the public will have the opportunity to directly meet and listen to the VinFuture award holders telling stories about their scientific research journeys during a workshop.
