Colorful hot-air balloons will be on display over Nguyen Thien Thanh Street in Thu Duc City under Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday and Sunday this week in celebration of National Day (September 2).

The hot-air balloon show will take place from 6:00 am to 9:00 am and from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The time may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.

The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee assigned the municipal Department of Culture and Sports to take responsibility for holding the hot-air balloon show using private resources.

The municipal police will ensure security and traffic and fire safety during the show.

The administration in Thu Duc City will take charge of directing its subordinates to create favorable conditions for relevant units to prepare for and organize the event and support the municipal police in ensuring security, order, and traffic and fire safety.

Ho Chi Minh City also planned a high-altitude fireworks display near the Saigon River Tunnel, which connects Thu Duc City with District 1, and a low-altitude pyrotechnic show at Dam Sen Theme Park from 9:00 pm to 9:15 pm on Saturday.
