A spring festival will kick off at Tao Dan Park in downtown Ho Chi Minh City in early February 2024, while six flower marketplaces will be opened at several other major parks in the city to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year.

The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee is set to organize the spring flower festival for 10 days, from February 6 to 15 2024, or between the 26th day of the 12th lunar month of 2023 and the sixth day of the first lunar month of 2024.

The entry fee is scheduled to stand at VND30,000 (US$1.22) per adult, while children under 1.2 meters tall can enter for free.

Several art performances and music shows will be held in conjunction with the festival.

A flower and bonsai exhibition area, as well as a bird competition, are also expected to stun fest-goers.

Tourists and residents of Ho Chi Minh City can admire and buy numerous kinds of flowers during six flower market sessions at Gia Dinh, Le Van Tam and September 23 Parks, and in Thu Duc City, the Phu My Hung Urban Area in District 7, and District 8.

These flower markets will open from the 23rd day to the 30th day of the lunar December of 2023, or from February 2 to 9, 2024.
