A beach flower walk in Da Nang City, central Vietnam is attracting large numbers of visitors who come to take photos and admire the beauty of the flower-adorned route after it opened to the public last week.
The two-kilometer-long flower walk, the first of its kind in the central city, was set up on the stunning coastal road Vo Nguyen Giap in Son Tra District, with more than VND4 billion (US$155,900) in investment backed by the city’s budget.
The walk was adorned with a vast array of brilliant flowering tropical plants like rose, daisy, and bougainvillea as well as plenty of spectacular art installations and lighting effects.

Ngo Dao, residing in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District, said that she was impressed by the vibrant flower route when she and her family visited the iconic My Khe Beach, which is located next to Vo Nguyen Giap Street.
“It’s amazing to stroll along the beach and take photos with blooming flowers on the beach walk," Dao said.
“I’m glad that our city has such a splendid beach flower walk."

The city also decorated a nearby beach area with stainless steel flowers which spin in the wind.
Nguyen Duc Vu, head of the management authority for the Son Tra Peninsula and beaches in the city, elaborated that the newly-opened beach flower walk adds a beautiful touch to the beach landscape, providing a picturesque setting that meets visitors' growing desire for relaxation and photo opportunities.
