Amid pine trees in Mang Den, a night street has officially opened to tourists and become the latest addition to the tourism map of the upland town in Vietnam.
The vibrant night street was set up on a 2.5-ha plot of land in Mang Den by the authorities of Kon Plong District, Kon Tum Province, Bui Viet Ha, chairman of the Mang Den Tourism Association, said on Saturday.
Visitors to this new destination in the Central Highlands can explore a wide variety of activities such as artistic performances, shopping, dining, camping, and tourism services.

The night street fills a gap in Mang Den’s tourism, which previously focused primarily on daytime activities.
According to the Kon Plong administration, Mang Den has developed a number of tourist spots in recent years, such as Pa Sy Waterfall, Dak Ke Lake, Kon Pring Community Cultural Village, and various lodging facilities.
However, most of these attractions operate between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, leaving the evening hours largely untapped for tourism.
Hence, the newly-opened Mang Den night street will allow tourists to explore and enjoy the area at night, while giving locals a platform to promote their unique products and generate more income.
