Ben Thanh Market, Reunification Palace, Saigon Central Post Office, and Ho Con Rua (Turtle Lake) in downtown Ho Chi Minh City have become check-in hotspots for photo shoots ahead of the 2025 Lunar New Year.
With cooler weather, the city is a comfortable temperature for longer photo shoots, and some youngsters are hiring photographers for the best results.
Traveling around the city, groups of young people donning ao dai, the traditional Vietnamese long gown, create a vibrant atmosphere in the heart of the metropolis.

Graceful young women, holding vibrant bunches of flowers, exude excitement and joy as they pose for photos, pretending that Tet has already arrived.
Nguyen Anh Thu, 24, from Binh Thanh District, shared that she and her friends chose to take photos in ao dai because of the perfect weather.
“I cherish traditional values. Every time I wear an ao dai, it fills me with a unique sense of happiness and pride,” said 21-year-old Hanh Nguyen from District 7, as she posed for photos near the iconic Reunification Palace.
