Binh Dinh Province in south-central Vietnam will celebrate the end of 2024 and ring in 2025 with a vibrant countdown program featuring artistic performances and a dazzling sound and light show, the provincial Department of Information and Communications announced on Thursday.

The 2025 New Year countdown event is scheduled to take place from 7:30 pm on December 31 to 12:30 am on January 1 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Quy Nhon City, the provincial capital.

The event is expected to promote this coastal province as an exciting tourist destination while creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for participants.

The celebration will be divided into three main parts, namely ‘Spring Melodies,’ ‘Quy Nhon - Radiant Transition,’ and ‘Ocean Night Dance,’ with each offering its own unique artistic vibes.

The finale will feature an exhilarating DJ performance with stunning fire and light effects along the picturesque coastline.

The line-up includes popular Vietnamese artists such as Anh Tu, LyLy, Bui Cong Nam, Orange, and the girl group May Trang.

Pham Ngoc Thai, deputy director of the provincial Department of Information and Communications, said that the countdown program has been carefully planned with high-quality sound, lighting, and performances, promising an international-standard celebration for all attendees.
