Which provinces in Vietnam do not have mountains?

Vietnam is known for its beautiful landscape and diverse topography with mountains, hills, beaches and islands. Most of the country is mountainous, however, there are two provinces that do not have mountains: Thai Binh and Hung Yen in the northern region.
The two provinces in the Red River Delta have flat terrain with no mountains.
The coastal province of Thai Binh is around 100km southeast of Hanoi and has a humid subtropical climate.
It is home to the ‘infinity sea,’ a beach in Thuy Xuan Commune, Thai Thuy District, which has recently emerged as a new hotspot for photographers in search of stunning scenery thanks to its still water that reflects the morning sun into limitless space.

Meanwhile, Hung Yen is located in the center of the Red River Delta and about 54km southeast of Hanoi.
Visitors to Hung Yen should not miss a trip to Thu Sy Commune, which is home to a few villages famous for maintaining their traditional craft of manually producing bamboo underwater traps over the past 200 years.
