A mangrove forest in central Vietnam has recently captured the attention of people who love travel and photography for its natural beauty.
The Ca Cai Lake mangrove forest, located in Binh Thuan Commune in the central province of Quang Ngai’s Binh Son District, has earned its reputation thanks to thousands of white-flowered black mangrove trees in the area.
Around 80 hectares of the trees were planted here six years ago as part of a project, launched by the Green Climate Fund in collaboration with the Vietnamese government, to improve the resilience of vulnerable coastal communities to climate change-related impacts, according to local Quang Ngai newspaper.
Since then, Ca Cai Lake has become a mangrove forest which has not only provided a protection forest for the area as well as improved the local ecological environment, but also offered a magnificent natural scene.
Every year, the forest dons a fairy-tale look as trees turn deciduous in fall.
The place has become an inspiration for many photographers with its diverse arrays of lotuses, water lilies, and green patches of water lettuce.
Numerous kinds of birds including storks and mallards also regularly fly to the forest.
Tourists to the forest can enjoy nature by riding around on a boat or joining local fishermen for fishing excursions.
The forest is ideal for visiting all year long, as it remains beautiful through all seasons.
