My Dinh National Stadium in the Vietnamese capital has been offering VIP guests, who are primarily people of high social status, successful businessmen, or important partners of Vietnamese football, a classy and exclusive experience.
Located on the third floor of the venue, a total of 22 VIP rooms can accommodate 12 to 20 people each, along with servers, medics, expensive food and drinks, and other conveniences.
According to Nguyen Minh Chau, deputy general secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), which manages the stadium, about 15 VIP lounges were booked in the semifinal at the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 between Vietnam and Myanmar on December 7.
VIP spectators can enjoy football games from inside the rooms through a glass window or have a closer look from the balcony equipped with several rows of chairs.

Each room is between 30 and 40 square meters in area, including a separate bathroom, in which services are provided by certain hospitality businesses.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, an employee of the five-star Crowne Plaza Hotel, which was contracted to serve some of the VIP rooms during the Vietnam-Myanmar game, stated she and her colleagues had to prepare the rooms about two and a half hours prior to the match.
After getting into the lounge, guests were overwhelmed with an air-conditioned atmosphere and the scent of delicious smoked salmon, bacon, fresh fruits, and premium wine, Bich stated.
In another room, traditional Vietnamese dishes were carefully placed on the table following a special request from the guests.
Lam Chi Quang, advisor at Toyota Vietnam, an important partner of the VFF, expressed his satisfaction with the services in the VIP rooms, saying he had been to the special rooms on a few occasions.
However, normal spectators may sometimes ‘invade’ the VIP area due to crowding at the stadium.
Security units would try to tell the fans to return to their designated seats but their efforts often end in vain.
