TV series features Vietnamese brides in Taiwan

Stories of Vietnamese woman who get marriage to Taiwanese husbands have been brought into a TV drama series titled “Duyen Trau cau.”

Directed by Minh Cao, the movie depicts the peaceful life of people in southern villages where are famous with the traditional betel cultivation and how the places are stirred after the villages’ women marry Taiwanese with the dream of a richer life.

“Duyen Trau Cau” was also filmed in Taiwan, besides Vietnam’s traditional betel villages. It is broadcasting at 8pm from Sunday to Thursday, on HTV7.
