A delegation of North Korean officials paid a visit to leading Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup in northern Vietnam on Wednesday, right ahead of the second U.S.-North Korea Summit.

The visit took place in Cat Hai, Hai Phong, where Vingroup bases its carmaking arm VinFast.

The delegation was led by Ri Su Yong, Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) Vice Chairman, a member of the WPK Political Bureau, and Director of the WPK International Affairs Department.

Before touring Vingroup’s factory, the North Korean delegation was briefed on the conglomerate’s core businesses that have made a name for it in Vietnam.

Nguyen Viet Quang, vice-chairman of Vingroup, and other executives kept the delegation informed of the group’s history, production, and its manufacture of cars and smartphones, among others.

U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un are scheduled to meet on Wednesday and Thursday in Hanoi to discuss denuclearization, lifting of sanctions, and other issues for a peaceful Korean peninsula.

Vingroup is considered the biggest private corporation in Vietnam, with its portfolios ranging from real estate, retail, and carmaking to education, healthcare, and smartphone production.
