Masan High-Tech Materials (MHT), a subsidiary of the Masan Group, has always been committed to putting people at the center of its development over the past 14 years.

In 2023, MHT was recognized as an “Enterprise for Employees” and became the first Vietnamese manufacturing company to be honored as a “Great Place to Work”.

The company invests especially in talent attraction and development activities at all levels.

In 2023, the company organized hundreds of training courses with a total of 42,230 training hours, attracting 21,710 participants.
In addition to professional skills, training courses also focused on developing soft skills, improving employees' ability to communicate and collaborate, thereby contributing to increased work efficiency.
The company also offered a clear career path to competent employees in recognition of their valuable contribution to the company's growth.
In addition, sharing sessions and short meetings are regularly held across departments to discuss day-to-day work, learn from mistakes, and share lessons learned.
From there, many initiatives and improvements were successfully applied, contributing to process optimization, performance enhancement, safe working environment, waste minimization and cost reduction.
Cultivating long-term cohesion through strong corporate culture
The enterprise’s management focuses on more than just career development and work performance. They also listen to employee opinions to continually develop policies as well as strengthen the company's remuneration and compensation policies.
In 2023, a number of employee benefit programs were introduced, including the Area Bonus Program, the Professional Skills Bonus Program, or newly issued or reiterated policies such as travel allowances, meal and housing allowances.
The management also demonstrated unwavering commitment to supporting employees by offering flexible working hours, comprehensive health check-ups, regular travel programs and sports activities such as yoga and running.
The employee seniority indicator clearly testifies the success of its benefits strategy. By 2023, up to 40.3 percent of employees have been working for more than 10 years.

Community development
Instead of concentrating only on business and manufacturing, MHT is deeply committed to sustainable development and social responsibility. Its goal is to create a prosperous and civilized community.
Each year, Nui Phao Mining contributes over VND1,000 billion (US$39.1 million) to the state budget and $1 million to socio-economic and cultural development activities in Thai Nguyen Province, while creating employment for thousands of local workers.

The company aims to develop future talent by offering scholarship programs in partnership with universities, educational associations and institutions.
For over 10 years, it has awarded scholarships to more than 2,500 students with a total value of over VND4 billion ($157,000).
Thanks to these efforts, with over 1,000 employees responding to the Great Place to Work survey, 90 percent said that MHT is a reliable place to work; 92 percent want to work here for the long term and are proud to tell others that they work here.
Some 91 percent vote for a good working environment and well-being policies, while 91 percent express that management is qualified to operate the company and inspires employees.
In 2023, the company was awarded “Enterprise for Employees” certificate of merit by the Vietnam Labor General Confederation and recognized as “Cultural Standard Enterprise for the period 2022 -23” by the Thai Nguyen Labor Confederation.
