A total of 15 international automobile brands are showcasing their latest models at the Vietnam Motor Show 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Vietnam Motor Show (VMS) 2019 kicked off at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7 on Wednesday and will last until October 27.
The 15th edition of the event, held every year since 2004, is organized by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) and Vehicles Importers Vietnam Association (VIVA).

This year’s VMS is joined by 15 international automakers and nearly 200 brands specializing in ancillary industry, said Toru Kinoshita, chairman of the VAMA and Toyota Motor Vietnam.
The 15 brands include Audi, Ford, Jaguar, Honda, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VinFast, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

This year sees the first time VinFast, a Vietnamese automaker run by local conglomerate Vingroup, has participated in the event.
The Vietnamese company is showcasing three of its signature models, namely the Lux SA SUV, the Lux A sedan, and the Fadil city car, at this year’s motor show.
