The luxurious Essence Grand Halong Bay Cruise 2 is scheduled to be launched in Bai Tu Long Bay of Quang Ninh Province, northern Vietnam in early May on a trial basis.

The cruise ship is among the 62 new travel products and services that the province will offer this year to attract more visitors to the bay.

The vessel, whose service quality meets international standards, will provide sightseeing tours in the bay and is expected to help unlock tourism potential of the bay.

Previously, the Essence Grand Halong Bay Cruise I, whose design resembles the said one, was put into service in the UNESCO-listed world natural heritage Ha Long Bay and attracted a huge number of visitors to this northern locality.

As part of on-going efforts of the province’s Ha Long City to promote tourism, the city’s Party Committee recently agreed to develop the three wards of Bai Chay, Hung Thang, and Tuan Chau into a tourism center in the city.

The ward-level authorities were tasked with ensuring the provision of a stable business climate, public safety and security, and public hygiene in the area, while launching more travel products and services to better serve local people and tourists.
