This documentary series originally includes 30 episodes, all of which have been published in Vietnamese.

Because of the huge differences between the languages and customs of the two countries and their new role as wives to South Korean men, many Vietnamese women were lost and disillusioned by their move to South Korea.

But many of them overcame all of the challenges and obstacles to successfully integrate into the South Korean society and build happy lives for themselves and their families.

Besides aiming to conjure sympathy for these women’s hard lives and homesickness, this series also aims to warn of the instability of Vietnamese illegal immigrant workers in South Korea.

Let’s zoom into the complex image of Vietnamese-South Korean marriages and the life of immigrant workers in South Korea.
