Yen Trang, a former singer of girl band May Trang, has been picked as the champion in the last show of the 2013 Buoc Nhay Hoan Vu (Dancing with the Stars) contest.

Audiences who follow the contest from the beginning were pleased with the fact that 3 artists, Yen Trang, Ngo Kien Huy and Lan Phuong, were selected for the finale.

The contestants had to perform 2 parts: a freestyle dance and a compulsory dance jointly given by the 3 judges, film director Le Hoang, ‘dance-sport queen’ Khanh Thi, and choreography Tran Ly Ly.

Specifically, Lan Phuong – Valeri were asked to perform the rumba, Ngo Kien Huy and Vicky performed the jive, while Yen Trang – Tisho did the waltz.

Yen Trang’s victory is predictable as she has been considered as one of the most promising candidate since the contestant list was released at the beginning of the contest.

As a singer, besides the strength of dancing, willingness to change and flexible adaptability were also a plus that helped Trang to overcome other competitors like Ngoc Quyen and Maya to become the winner.

The two runners-up were Ngo Kien Huy – Vicky and Lan Phuong – Valeri.

The 4th season of the 2013 Buoc Nhay Hoan Vu is said to be less interesting than the previous ones given the contestants’ performances and the attractiveness to viewers, according to insiders.
