An exhibit featuring highly practical, innovative artworks launched by art students of the Hue Art University opened in central Hue city on May 29.
The exhibit, themed “Ideas for a real life” and held at 10 To Ngoc Van street, features 54 items, which comprise of 27 interior decor ones, 25 applied graphic ones, and two traditional decorative ones.
Among them are the calendars which boast eye-catching designs depicting traditional art, scenery and activities such as Vietnamese people’s betel quid preparation, Hue kite making, folk games and picturesque landscapes of Hoi An ancient town.
On display are also innovatively-designed posters on a wide array of topic matters, including Hue court music programs, the purity of the Vietnamese language and harmful effects of drinking.
The exhibit, which runs till May 31, also features several stamp collections with stunning designs on Vietnamese history and water puppetry.
