Local audiences will see for the first time the competition between duets and group performances on the same stage on the Vietnamese version of “The Winner is”’s Group round, which airs June 8.

The 3rd episode, Group round, which will air on HTV7, HN1 and Giai Tri Viet at 9pm on June 8, will feature contesting performances by duos and bands in various genres including pop, opera, Latin music, rock and rap.

Apart from popular bands such as Dong Thoi Gian, It’s Time and Nhat Nguyet, new duos and bands including TVM, Toc ngan, VMen, Cocoband and The Leaders are also expected to liven up the show.

The episode promises to be thrill-packed as the contestants will also negotiate and try to outperform and outwit each other.

The Vietnamese version of “The Winner Is”, a German-Dutch singing reality game show, gathers 64 contestants, including established singers, for its season 1 after the auditions, and has been on air since May 25.
