Over 350 reliefs depicting ethnic minorities’ daily lives and cultural values have recently been attached to the Dak Nong bridge walls to beautify the bridge and promote the peoples’ culture.
The 50×80 cm reliefs are attached along the walls at one-meter intervals.
According to Le Thi Hong An, from the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the department provided the bridge constructor with photos featuring local ethnic minorities, on which they model to make the reliefs.
“The attachment not only embellishes the bridge but also better promotes the minorities’ cultural identities to locals and tourists by attracting their attention,” she noted.
