The pageant, the world’s third largest beauty contest, attracts contestants from 73 countries. The winner will become the Ambassadors of Peace and Beauty and join charitable and peace activities in the world.

A graduate from the Trade University, Tram, who is 1.71m tall and possesses the 86 - 63 – 91 body measurements, earned the 2013 Jewelry Queen contest.

She joined a training course with local model Thuy Hang and BB Academy to prepare for the Miss International pageant.

Tram will be donning an “ao dai” (traditional Vietnamese long gown) by local designer Lan Huong and an evening gown by Eva de Eva at the Dec 17 finale.

Several Vietnamese beauties and models contended at the pageant in previous years, including Chung Thuc Quyen and Truc Diem, who made it to the Top 15.
