Several streets in Nha Trang resort city in central Khanh Hoa province have recently been installed with lights to celebrate the upcoming Tet (lunar new year), which begins on Jan 31.

The ‘light street’ from Lodge Hotel to Yasaka - Saigon – Nha Trang Hotel on Tran Phu street has been decorated with colored lights with the VND550 million (US$25,943) funding, which comes mainly from Khanh Viet Corp.

The street section boasts steel pillars adorned with sparkling LED apricots.

Four other streets, Le Thanh Ton, Thai Nguyen, Yersin and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, are also illuminated with a VND3.15 billion (US$148,600) investment.

Meanwhile, the 2014 Nha Trang Flower Festival is set to run at Yen Phi Park from Jan 23 to Feb 4. The festival will feature a competition and stunning displays of bonsai plants, orchids, ornamental stones and birds.
