Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security has busted a large-scale online gambling ring worth nearly VND2 trillion (US$87 million).
The ministry confirmed on Sunday morning they had coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to put a stop to the illegal organization, which operated via the website www.m88gin.com.
Preliminary information showed that transactions made via the gambling ring were worth about VND2 trillion since it was first established in 2015.
