-- The Vietnamese Ministry of Health on Monday morning confirmed 328 local COVID-19 cases, including 175 cases in Ho Chi Minh City and 100 in Dong Thap, raising the national caseload to 20,261 infections, with 7,891 recoveries and 86 deaths.
-- The Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang on Sunday evening recorded its first local coronavirus case in the country’s ongoing infection round, a farmer who had traveled to the Binh Dien wholesale market in Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria - Vung Tau between June 30 and Saturday.
-- Police in Bac Giang, Hanoi, and Ha Giang collaborated to catch a COVID-19 patient on a sleeper bus with 28 other people after he had escaped from a hospital on Sunday.
-- Ho Chi Minh City’s deputy chairman Ngo Minh Chau said on Sunday that the municipal authorities would set up a COVID-19 testing operation center in coming days.
-- Tan Dinh Market in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City has been suspended from operating for 14 days since Sunday after a trader working there tested positive for the coronavirus.

-- Police in Cau Giay District, Hanoi said on Sunday afternoon that they had broken up a large ring of stolen cars for sale, seizing nearly 100 vehicles of all kinds.
