-- Police in Hanoi are investigating a case in which a three-year-old girl in Thach That District has been hospitalized with nine foreign objects that look like nails inside her skull.


-- Vietnam’s sales of steel products reached 23 million metric tons in 2021, up 17 percent from 2020, according to Nghiem Xuan Da, chairman of the Vietnam Steel Association.

-- Vietnamese State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Tuesday attended the inauguration ceremony of the Hanh Phuc rice mill located in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang, with a daily capacity of 1,000 metric tons of processed rice, the biggest in Asia.

-- Da Nang has topped Vietnam’s provincial Tourism Competitiveness Index, finishing in first place in 2021, the Tourism Advisory Board and the government’s Private Economic Development Research Board announced on Tuesday.
