Rescuers found a Singaporean man and a Vietnamese woman, who were lost in the Bidoup-Nui Ba national park in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, on Tuesday afternoon after several hours of searching.

The two people, 22-year-old Singaporean N.Cheun Han K. and 21-year-old Vietnamese K.H.T.T., who lives in Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, were both in stable health upon the rescue.

Police in Lac Duong District, Lam Dong received a report that two people were lost in the Bidoup-Nui Ba national park on Monday morning.

The duo traveled by taxi from Da Lat, the capital city of Lam Dong, to the Lang Biang tourism area, which is adjacent to the national park, earlier on the same morning.

They followed trails to the forest and could not find the way out.

After being rescued, they were safely taken back to the Lang Biang tourism area on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities warn people, especially visitors, against arbitrarily going into the forest without tour guides.
