Police in Dong Nai Province, southern Vietnam arrested a 29-year-old man a few hours after he robbed a woman at a bank on Wednesday.
Tu Thanh Tung, 29, was captured in Buu Long Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai on the evening of the same day.
Tung visited an Agribank branch in the province’s Vinh Cuu District on a motorbike at around 2:30 pm on the day of the robbery.
His face and body were covered with a mask, a hat, glasses, and a coat.
He also covered the license plate of his motorbike.

After parking the motorbike at the gate of the bank, Tung walked straight into the building, took out a black object looking like a gun, and threatened T.T.T., a female customer who was making a transaction with VND90 million (US$3,802) in cash.
Next, he grabbed VND20 million ($845) from the counter where T.T.T. was making the transaction before fleeing the scene by motorbike and leaving behind the toy gun.
Police officers caught Tung near his residence in Buu Long Ward shortly after.
An investigation into the case is underway.
