Police in Da Nang, central Vietnam announced on Wednesday that they had detained four people following a nightclub raid in Hai Chau District, where 64 club-goers had tested positive for drugs.
Officers swooped on New Phuong Dong club in Hai Chau District at around 0:00 on Tuesday.
There were hundreds of customers at the venue when authorities entered the building, according to a police report on the raid.
The officers detained and examined several suspicious club-goers before finding them to be in possession of ecstasy and ketamine.
Rapid tests showed that 38 out of 43 customers came up positive for narcotics.

The police force apprehended Vo Ngoc Phi, 30, Phan Van Kiem, 23, To Ngoc Linh, 33, all residents of neighboring Quang Nam Province, as well as Ho Nhat Hai, 23, a resident of Da Nang, to further investigate their illegal possession and use of narcotics.
Further random rapid tests found 26 other individuals positive for drugs.
Phi then confessed to bringing dozens of ecstasy pills to the nightclub to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday.
This is not the first time police have discovered and handled cases of narcotics use at New Phuong Dong, which is believed to be the largest nightclub in Da Nang and Vietnam’s central region.
