-- Southern Vietnam will stay hot with low humidity on Tuesday, while northern provinces will see a drop in temperature due to the influence of a cold spell, the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting reported.

-- The memorial ceremony for 64 martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty in 1988 was organized at the Gac Ma soldiers’ memorial site in south-central Khanh Hoa Province on Monday evening.


-- Petrol prices increased up to VND490 per liter in the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Finance on Monday. The retail prices of RON 95-III and E5 RON 92 were raised to VND23,810 and VND22,800 per liter, respectively. ($1 = VND23,587).
