Police in Thanh Khe District, Da Nang worked with relevant agencies on Saturday evening to investigate a stabbing attack in which a karaoke bar employee stabbed a male customer to death.

Preliminary investigation results showed that H.D.V., a 28-year-old resident of Lien Chieu District, came to a karaoke parlor on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in Thanh Khe as a customer on Saturday afternoon, reported Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper.

V. and A., a 29-year-old staff member of the karaoke bar, were involved in a dispute over the bill at 4:00 pm on the same day.

After that, A. chased V. and stabbed the latter with a knife outside the karaoke bar.

Though the victim no longer resisted, A. repeatedly stabbed him.

Due to his aggressiveness, nearby residents did not dare to stop him.

Police were cordoning off the scene for investigation at 6:45 pm.

Serious wounds left V. dead en route to the hospital.
