-- Police in Nha Trang City of Khanh Hoa Province, south-central Vietnam on Tuesday said they were investigating a case where a 20-year-old man rented a local house and turned it into a location for processing synthetic marijuana.
-- A district in Ha Tinh Province, north-central Vietnam reported over 4,300 students afflicted with conjunctivitis in one week. According to the Ha Tinh health authorities, the province has now tallied over 30,000 cases of conjunctivitis.

-- Vietnam’s four biggest state-owned lenders -- VietinBank, Vietcombank, BIDV, and Agribank -- have announced further decreases in deposit interest rates for various terms, with reductions ranging from 0.2 to 0.3 percentage points per year. The lowest available rate has now reached a historic low of 3.5 percent per annum, marking the lowest point recorded since the emergence of COVID-19.
-- The International Finance Corporation announced on Tuesday that it is investing up to US$150 million in Vietnam's first-ever local currency sustainability-linked bonds issued by BIM Land Joint Stock Company and its subsidiary, Thanh Xuan Joint Stock Company.
