A South Korean tourist died after falling four meters off a cliff on Lang Biang Mountain, a popular tourist site that is 12 kilometers from Da Lat City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, on Thursday afternoon.

The traveler reached a rock cliff where the local authorities had erected warning signs to discourage tourists from approaching it on Lang Biang Mountain to take photos and slipped.

She was rushed to hospital as she suffered serious injuries and was unconscious before passing away at 4:00 pm.

On Tuesday, four other South Korean travelers died when a flash flood hit their jeep in a shallow stream in Cu Lan Village, Lac Duong District, Lam Dong Province.

The provincial authorities later forced the Cu Lan village tourist site to temporarily suspend operations.
