Police in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City have discovered three men illegally plastering advertisements in public places, thus ordering them to remove these ads from utility poles, houses, and light poles.
Police officers on Thursday completed the documentation to impose administrative fines on three men for sticking ads on power poles and residents’ houses.
On Wednesday, while patrolling Tran Hung Dao Street in Ward 7, District 5, officers discovered two individuals affixing paper advertisements containing the phrase 'Rolling door repair services' onto power poles and the doors of houses.
The two confessed to the police officers that they work as rolling door repairmen during daytime, but at night, they often ride their motorcycle to District 5 and District 8 to plaster ads.
They also revealed their accomplice named P.H.L..
L. was quickly summoned to the police station for questioning.
He admitted that he often ventures out to stick paper ads on houses’ doors from 3:00 to 4:00 am each day.
The three submitted some 1,000 pieces of ads to police officers.
To fix their wrongdoing, police ordered them to clear all ads from power poles, houses, and lighting poles that had been covered by their promotional materials.
