Ho Chi Minh City began offering an uninterrupted day-and-night double-decker bus service from Thursday to serve tourists and promote local tourism, with the night double-decker rides available from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am every day, according to the service provider Anh Viet Hop On Hop Off Vietnam.
Thanks to the recent launch of the all-night double-decker bus tour, visitors now can tour 30 streets and some 20 tourist destinations in the southern hub such as Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, Ben Thanh Market, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Bui Vien Street and explore the night city ambience plus stunning landscapes along the most significant streets.
Tourists will also be briefed on the city and its people during the tour.

Nguyen Khoa Luan, director of Anh Viet Hop On Hop Off Vietnam Company, said the launch of the tour is expected to promote the city’s tourism.
His company received upbeat feedback on the first all-night sightseeing bus tour from many tourists, who expressed their delight at traveling around the city at night to avoid the hustle and traffic congestion.
Luan revealed that his company is seeking the green light from authorities to launch a second tour of this kind to connect the city center with Cho Lon (Big Market) in District 6.
The launch of the all-night sightseeing bus tour made Ho Chi Minh City the sole metropolis in the world to offer the uninterrupted day-and-night double-decker bus service.
Each double-decker ride is available every 30 minutes and lasts from 70 to 75 minutes.
Previously, Vietnamese travel firm Vietluxtour teamed up with the administration of District 1 to roll out a night-time tour starting from after 6:00 pm until midnight.
Those taking on this tour can explore the city’s culture, history, go shopping, enjoy artistic performances, sample local foods, and experience wellness services.
