The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has summarized units’ proposals to use ten public land lots as locations for fixed-term public parking lots.
In particular, the proposed locations include part of the roadbeds of the section of Le Lai Street from Pham Hong Thai Street to Nguyen Thi Nghia Street and part of the sidewalk on the Nguyen Sieu Street section from Thai Van Lung Street to Ton Duc Thang Street in District 1.
These two locations can accommodate 96 cars.
In District 3, part of the frontage of Le Van Tam Park on the Hai Ba Trung Street section from Vo Thi Sau Street to Dien Bien Phu Street was set to house 144 cars.

In District 5, authorities have proposed using part of the Cho Lon bus station and part of the roadbed of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street for public parking lots, with a total capacity for 158 cars and 200 motorbikes.
They also suggested utilizing portions of Le Thi Rieng Park and the front yard of the Ly Thuong Kiet apartment building in District 10, as well as the culture and sports center No. 1 on Hoa Phuong Street in Phu Nhuan District, to develop additional public parking lots.

Two other locations are a vacant land lot at the intersection of Vo Van Kiet Avenue and De Tham Street in District 1 and an over-3,500-square-meter lot adjacent to a road leading to the international terminal of Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Tan Binh District.
