This marks the first time these military arms have been showcased outside of Russia, according to Rosoboronexport, a subsidiary of Russia's Rostec State Corporation.
The equipment is displayed in the expo's outdoor area, with Rosoboronexport leading a delegation of 16 Russian exhibitors.
The company has also dispatched a team of military experts to the airport for the event.

Most of the Russian military equipment at the expo have proven their actual capability in high-level armed conflicts, Mikheev said, adding that they have been upgraded based on real combat experience.
He affirmed that military technical cooperation between Vietnam and Russia is an important part of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
A total of 77 units from Vietnam will join the expo, showcasing 69 types of weaponry and military equipment that have been researched and produced by the Southeast Asian country’s military since 2022.

This year’s display aims to showcase Vietnam’s defense industry capabilities, advance international defense cooperation, and seek opportunities to export the country’s defense products.
The first Vietnam International Defense Expo was held in 2022, attracting 174 enterprises from 30 countries.
