-- Police in Phu Yen Province, located in south-central Vietnam, executed an emergency detention order against a passenger bus driver following an accident that killed three people and injured dozens of others on Saturday.

-- A border guard station in Phu Yen Province brought four crew members of a Taiwanese fishing vessel which drifted in local waters to shore safely on Saturday. Among them are three Taiwanese people and one Vietnamese national.
