Sol Campbell has announced a visit to Ho Chi Minh City from November 16 to 19 via Arsenal’s Facebook page.
“As you know, I’ll be coming to Vietnam in a few days’ time” said the 43 year-old in a video posted to the social media site on Monday
“I am so excited. Let’s make it a great event. See you soon.”
Campbell is expected to participate in several activities with fans, including a discussion with students on health and training, a cooking demonstration and a commentary on the London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham on November18.
The former center-back announced his retirement from football in May 2012.
During his career, Campbell made 646 appearances for five different English clubs, including Arsenal, where he won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups.
The Londoner also won 73 caps for England and represented the country in three World Cups and three European Championships.
