Vietnamese fighter Dinh Hong Quan will battle with Filipino boxer Delmar Pellio for the IBF (International Boxing Federation) Asia Lightweight title at The Grand Ho Tram in Vietnam on Saturday.

Quan is Vietnam’s first boxer to step in the ring for the lightweight IBF Asia belt.

During his professional career, he has had seven wins -- four of them won by knockout -- one draw and one defeat.

He has been on a winning streak since 2019 with five consecutive victories, most at international competitions.

His opponent in Saturday’s belt fight, Pellio, is considered a tough boxer at the age of 22.

The Filipino had an impressive streak of nine wins in a row until last year.

Olimjon Nazarov will defend his WBO (World Boxing Organization) Oriental flyweight belt against Jerme Baloro, while in a bigger weight class, Abdurasul Ismolov will fight Argie Toquero for the WBO Oriental belt.

Song Chan Ho will compete against Romer Pinili for the WBO Youth belt.

The fights will be held at The Grand Ho Tram Hotel in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
