The administration in Lac Duong District of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has directed the removal of improperly placed signage among the 23 'no parking on even days' signs along a one-kilometer section of National Highway 27 in the district, a local official told local media on Saturday.
On the section, the 23 signs are installed in a straight line, with every two signs placed 50 meters apart.
The signs are placed at the entrances of alleys intersecting with National Highway 27. Since the houses along the road are relatively spacious, one sign is positioned for every two to three houses.
According to the Don Duong District administration, the district's economics and infrastructure unit installed the 23 'no parking on even days' signs. While newly installed, they have yet to be officially approved.

The story about the installation of 23 identical traffic signs on the one-kilometer road section has received mixed opinions.
Supporting the placement of the 23 signs at alley entrances, N.H.M. argued that they are necessary, as drivers exiting an alley and turning right may not see signs placed further down the road.
However, another individual countered that there is no regulation requiring signs at every alley entrance, noting that if such a rule existed, millions of signs would be installed.
Tuan Lam added that he had observed similarly excessive sign placements on newly reconstructed roads, such as Le Loi Street in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province.
