Chi Lang Stadium, which used to be a bustling sports destination in Da Nang City, central Vietnam, is now run down and left deserted.
The stadium gates are now locked, with the locks rusting away.
The stands have deteriorated, overrun by weeds and trees.
The surrounding area has been repurposed as a temporary parking lot for vehicles.

“Everyone is sad when seeing Chi Lang Stadium, which used to be an icon of the city. All residents want to keep this place,” said Nguyen Huu Tuyen, a dweller in Hai Chau District, Da Nang.
The municipal authorities also want to keep the stadium, but their efforts have been in vain.
Chi Lang Stadium covers over 55,000 square meters of land and is an asset seized for the judgment enforcement in a civil case.
