Jamie Vardy goaded the Tottenham Hotspur fans by making a 1-0 gesture on his impressive return as he earned one Leicester point against Spurs in their Premier League season opener on Monday.
Vardy rolled back the years to frighten Tottenham again and earned Leicester a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium, reported Irish Independent.
When he was substituted with 11 minutes of the match left and was jeered by the traveling Tottenham fans, the Leicester star pointed to the Premier League badge on his sleeve and held up one finger, seemingly referring to England’s top-flight title they won in 2016.
He then pointed at the Spurs fans - a club who are yet to win any Premier League trophy - making a zero sign with his finger and walked off, reported ESPN.
Vardy was also seen in a verbal altercation with Tottenham defender Cristian Romenro as he left the pitch.
Vardy was part of their title-winning team in 2016 and was back in the top flight with Leicester after they were promoted from the Championship last season.

Arsenal fans have begged for Vardy to be honored with a statue after his brutal gesture to Tottenham fans, according to The Sun.
Speaking to Sky Sports in his post-match interview, the veteran forward stated that he was only getting his own back on fans that had given him stick throughout the duration of the contest, according to GiveMeSport.
Responding to a question from Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, veteran striker Vardy explained, "You take a bit of stick during the game, that is part of football. So as long as they can take it when I am giving it back then that is all that matters.”
