Miss Eco Teen International 2021 Bella Vu won a gold medal in vocals and a silver in piano on Wednesday at the 9th Asia Arts Festival, which was hosted by Singapore.

The 9th Asia Arts Festival took place in the University Culture Center Theatre at the National University of Singapore from Tuesday to Friday.

This year's fest had the participation of contestants from 17 different countries and territories like the U.S., the UK, Australia, Singapore, Japan, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, India, Vietnam, and more.

Vietnam's representative for this competition was Miss Eco Teen International 2021 Bella Vu Huyen Dieu, also known for short as Bella Vu.

She participated in both the piano and vocals categories.

Before going to Singapore to participate in the Asia Arts Festival, Bella Vu had a serious training program for a few months.

After arriving in the city-state, Bella Vu suffered from a high-temperature fever and a sore throat that nearly made her lose her voice but she still trained before the competition date.

On Tuesday, Bella Vu finished her submission in levels 4-6 in the piano category and was awarded a silver medal in piano solo.

On Wednesday, she took home a gold medal after performing the song Bella Ciao in Italian with piano support from pianist Nguyen Long An, who is also her teacher.

Bella Vu has attended the Asia Arts Festival for several times before and secured a silver medal in solo piano in 2015 and a silver medal in piano duet in 2016.
