Vietnamese model wins runner-up prize at Mister Grand International 2022

Nguyen Vu Linh, a Vietnamese contestant at the Mister Grand International 2022, just won the 4th runner-up title.

The final night of the Mister Grand International 2022 contest took place in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday morning (Vietnam time).

Twenty-four contestants from countries and territories around the world competed in donning national costume, swimwear, sportswear, and vest.

At the awarding session, Nguyen Vu Linh was announced the 4th runner-up of the contest, in addition to winning the prizes for ‘Best in National Costume’ and ‘Top Model.’

The Mister Grand International winner is a Swiss, and the first, second, and third runners-up are three contestants from the Philippines, Singapore and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, rescpectively.

“I feel luckly to receive cheers from the audience at home and friends around the world,” Linh said after receiving his prizes.

“I feel the courage be more responsible to the community and partcipate in more social activities in the future after winning the runner-up title.”

Linh, 28, was born in Ben Tre Province, Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region.

He weighs 75kg, and his body measures are 99-78-98cm.

Linh won the runner-up prize at the Vietnam Fashion Model Contest 2018.

Before that, he had participated in different male pageants. 

Currently, he is a flight attendant and a freelance model.

Many Vietnamese men competed at the Mister Grand International before Linh, including Nguyen Tien Dat and Ly Cao Thien Son, who won the runner-up title in 2017 and 2018, respectively, and Nguyen Van Tuan, who claimed the Mister International crown in 2019.
