Vietnam’s first two audio exhibit spaces have been put into trial use at the Museum of Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern Women’s Museum in the southern metropolis.
The French Embassy in Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports held a ceremony to officially launch the audio exhibit spaces, which they introduced as 'story cabins,' and handed them over to the two museums on Wednesday afternoon.
The concept of the story cabins was originally conceived by the Confluence Museum in Lyon, France and Vietnam is the inaugural country where the French authorities have implemented this model overseas.

Story cabins are sound devices accessible to all visitors.
There is a control screen inside each cabin, allowing users to choose three-minute presentations for four outstanding artifacts displayed at the Museum of Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern Women’s Museum, along with the History Museum of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts.
